Laptops across the border searched and copied by swisscheese2008-02-13 10:07:51
I see a real problem here and it might affect me. by vampire 2008-02-13 10:35:40
I have to carry my laptop in most cases when I travel. I am responsible for certain company data storage procedures that I am bound by NDA not to disclose. Let us just that that the data is IT and financial related. The government not only has no need to go poking around this information but, it would negatively impact our ability to protect our customers from fraud and identity theft. And based on our governments ability to protect such data, I'd be inclined to tell them where to stick it if they asked. What's a fellow to do?
