*facepalm* by voxwoman 2008-02-13 10:09:01
I've been getting shut off notices for the power which I've been ignoring, since I sent them a large sum of money 2 weeks ago. Just checked my online bill payment list, and realized I never updated the account information and I had paid the power for the old house, which account has been closed for 6 months already.

At least the utility company now knows I paid the bill and they aren't asking for a duplicate payment while they track down the payment to the old account.

In the words of Susan Ivanova, "I can only conclude that I'm paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate."

I am not going to be curious about what else can go awry today.
