For some reason it seems that the higher up in a hierarchy a woman reaches, the more hateful, snobbish and unhelpful she is.

It's like the Dilbert principle except it's crabbiness instead of ineptitude.

Why is this? Is it pent up frustration from being in a man's world? Is being pleasant such a disadvantage in business?

Or is it just the Dilbert principle being followed?
