Assuming anyone cares: Recap - We found and blocked the (hopefully last) entry point Saturday morning. Saturday night found that the beast had been sleeping when we blocked the entry point off. Baited trap but the beast wouldn't go near it. Monday the beast is still trying to get out. We opened the entry point and put a plastic bag over it. About an hour later the bag is on the ground outside. We reblocked the hole. The beast was still inside, it was raining at the time (or possibly there were two). Tuesday there was no sound of activity when I got home. Carp, I will have to find the body. No luck on the quick search. About 11:45 we hear slow movements. We went outside and removed a fascia board under the eaves where the beast had been trying to make an exit. About 12:30, more slow movements followed by a splat sound outside. I went and checked, no sign of raccoon. Put the board back. Hopefully we are no longer running a raccoon hotel.
