CALGARY POLICE SERVICE MEDIA RELEASE ALL ROADS DIFFICULT TO NEGOTIATE, SNOW COVERED AND WIND SWEPT. LANES AND ROAD MARKINGS OBSCURED. SLOW DOWN, EXPECT DELAYS, RESPECT YOUR FELLOW MOTORISTS. POWER LINES DOWN IN THE INTERSECTION OF 34TH AVENUE AND BLACKFOOT TRAIL SE; THIS EXTENDS NORTH TO OGDEN ROAD INTERSECTION. THERE IS LIMITED TO NO ACCESS THROUGH UNTIL CFD IS ABLE TO STABLIZE. PLEASE FIND AN ALTERNATIVE OR RISK HUGE DELAYS AND POSSIBLE IMPASSABILITY. DON'T MAKE THIS BAD WEATHER DAY BE MORE THAN JUST A NUISANCE, SLOW DOWN TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT AND LIVE TO CURSE THE WEATHER ANOTHER DAY!
