Tell your CO something along those lines then by Classic_Jon 2008-02-13 07:46:07
Tell him that you WANT to do your job well and want to move forward and have learned from your past mistakes and need someone who will understand that you need to know what it is you need to do if you do not understand and ask a clarifying question to make sure you are going to do it correctly.

Now, I am not military BUT, from what friends have said that are, if you do not ask for a transfer to another unit/troop/NCO when you do this then you may get stuck back with the same NCO and him telling you to pick up the toothbrush with your left hand, the bucket with your right and him giving you explicitly detailed instructions on how to clean the floor of the shower with it.....

Be careful and make sure if you talk to your CO that you put it in POSITIVE terms about YOUR growth and what you need and not that the NCO is an a3hat and needs a Lart. IF you talk negatively about him...that is the response you will get...negative... Be positive MEAN IT when you say that you have learned from your mistakes and want to move on from there.
