Digg, and its been very nice.
The joys of not going to Digg:
1. No Top ## list
2. No random pictures
3. No random youtube videos
4. No junk that has to be filtered
5. I have free time to educate myself
Yes, I know I could filter out pictures and what not, but the average IQ of the stories that made it to the front page has dropped considerably.
The more I stay away from Digg, the better I feel.
I joined Digg about 3 years ago, when they actually had tech stories that were the majority of stories, now its just a gossip aggregate.
I still get stories via /. (I don't read comments that often, just stories), but Digg is not worth seeing the stories first amongst all the muck. |
