to the sim card or memory card. Remove the memory card and sim card. Wrap the phone carefully into the original packing. Return the packing to the store. Let them replace it.

I would not bother fixing a device which is so heavily encrypted (not only electronically, but also electrically and mechanically) that it is impossible to. If they prevent you from fixing it, make them fix it.

It is unlikely that the file caused the malfunction (unless it wasn't a phone virus). It is probably bad timing.
