... there was this one unit I was on technical training for a while. The Captain and one Master Sergeant ( in charge of organisation ) were the ones with the "funny ideas". The other Master Sergeant ( in charge of the technical stuff ), another Sergeant, and three privates including me set up some quite nifty manoeuvres to outflank them. Which included turning a night we were supposed to have some pointless exercise into a barbecue. ;-) In short, be on the lookout for someone to talk to higher up on the food chain. Approach it from the "I want do do a good job, but I can't" angle.
