Long version: You could try to update the BIOS. On the other hand if there is something wrong this could screw things even more. If it is a new delivery I would defenitly send it back.
I used to call the company that delivered the parts, they might have a suggestion.
Somtimes they'll just send you a new one or credits the amount of money. I'd also expect a good supplier to take care of return costs.
