in case there would be a monitor attached.. but otherwise it would be completely pointless to replace the shutdown/reboot-commands with anything more funny than a simple /bin/echo "no" :) The sound-card thing is really simple, you just replace the shutdown-command with, say, mpg123 [funny.wav] :)
