Hello all,
I'm about to install a linux-box that is going to be co-located a friends place. I assume noone but me and my friend will have access to the machine, and that no monitor will be atatched to it.
However, since I'm modifying the /etc/acpi/powerbtn.sh-script to not shut down the pc if someone by accident leans on the powerbutton, I was thinking about making some amusement of it.
This is where you guys come into the picture:
I will make a script for /etc/acpi/powerbtn.sh and for the ctrlaltdel-line in /etc/inittab that, instead of shutting down/rebooting the machine spews random messages at the user.
Here's what I've come up with so far on my own:
'don't do that'
'quit it!'
'I'll tell my mom!'
'I'm not that kind of server you know'
and contributed by someone else:
"Don't touch me there, you pervert..."
Any other ideas?
Have any of you or someone you know done this before?
An alternative was to activate the onboard soundcard and have the machine play random messages too/instead - would that be taking it too far? :)
