I started getting grey hairs about the time I *started* high school. At the time, I was kinda proud of them, and when I first started out as a vet, it helped me look more respectable and less fresh-out-of-school.
However, now I'm well established, and I'm also still single and looking. I decided that it's not a matter of growing old, it's just a matter of looking my proper age, so I started coloring my hair a year or so ago. I picked a color as close as possible to my real color, it's strictly to cover the greys.
However, I have no intention of getting my eyes done or collagen injections or any of that. I don't even tend to wear make-up most of the time, since it'd just rub off on my surgical mask and it takes too darn long anyway.
So, do what you can in little ways, but don't get carried away. Use a basic moisturizer to keep your skin from getting dry, but don't bother with all the anti-aging anti-wrinkle crap. Do what makes you feel sexy without making you feel like you're working for it!
For what it's worth, I think you look great! |
