electronica in the background. I was my nephew's age when I left behind the "Big Yellow Dinosaur"s of youth for more sophisticated fare. Not that I don't enjoy a taste of George or an episode, or ten, of Sesame Street. But, given his level of geekyness (he scored in the 95th percentile on the MAP test on Monday) I figure he's ready for deep literature. So, I'll be reading to him tonite.
