jane said "I've been to the edge of space, just looks like more space" if he's calling the edge of the solar system the edge of space, then he must be much shorter in view then those that left 'earth that was' to settle the system in the first place. This would be ok if it was Jane. But Kaylee ALSO thinks this way. It might just be because they are not from the inner planets, but she is as educated as any outer planet citizen.
