I'm talking about the line fuse(s). Those are usually prior to transformers internally and recifiers of the powersupplies feeding the delicate electronics.

Atcually one of the best ways to protect elctronics being powered up is by running the power through a light bulb as if it were a fuse. It will tke the brunt of the power turn on surge and keep from blowing up stuff.
