The road to the Super Bowl is going be a cold one.
The current temperature in Green bay right now is minus 4F, with a wind chill of 20 below. Game time temperature forecast is going be around zero degrees. This could end up being Ice Bowl II. The first 30,000 fans to show up at todays get a free set of hand warmers.
In Foxbarrow, the weather is a bit warmer. 25F with a wind chill around 15. If you are going make it to the super bowl your going have to preform in the cold.
I don't think I been more excited about a football game then the Giants game this weekend in my adult life. I had a dream where the Giants won in overtime by a field goal that was set up by a interception on the opening drive. I think this is just me hopping, rather than a prediction of what will happen. But that being said I am going pick the Giants over green bay. But even if the giants don't win, and Bret Farve and the Packers make it to the super bowl and win it all. I will be very happy for him. I don't think there is a player in the NFL who deserves a championship more than he do, especially seeing it may be his last year.
In the AFC the Chargers will be taking on the prefect 17-0 Patriots. The chargers upset the colts last week, can their momentum stand up against the patriots? If chargers can run the ball effectively in the cold, and if Philip Rivers, who will be starting, is felling 100% they might have a good chance of winning. To beat the Pats you have to play top notch for 60 minutes. Sadly, I think the Pats will be 18-0 by the end of the day. And headed to the super bowl. [There to many New England fans around here, in Vermont]
