Having been there myself, this is what I did. Give the opportunity to respond to your communications. If at some oint they quit responding, I assume they don't want to anymore and I leave them alone. If they come back later and ask why I quit trying to communicate, I politely explain why in a non-threating way. It is up to them at that point.The most important thing to remember, there should be no haed feelings toward them. They may have a good reason.
