Reference. As we weren't very close, I'm somewhat surprised that I still miss him so much. Once I left home (drafted - joined USAF instead - didn't want to go into the Army) it was rare for me to find my way back home. ... And I really didn't feel like I fit there when I did. I never wished him ill, but I never really wanted to be very close, either. I was really surprised at the hole his passing left in me. But as my mother said a few days ago, "Life goes on." So it does. Thanks for listening - or reading....
