C or C++? by romandas2008-01-17 11:05:09
  I started with C++. by Nath3 2008-01-17 17:24:39
Did some object oriented programming in C++ and Java. Then found myself writing C for a systems class; picking it up is trivial once you know C++.

On the other hand, there's something appealing about starting with C, finding its limitations, and then learning C++. If you expect to be writing systems code in the near future, C is probably the way to go for now. That said, going from C to C++ is trickier than the other way around.

Short answer: either way.
