I don't have the flash book, because I have 80 dollars in Flash MX books that I never went through. I'll probably get the Flash book - I think I get a bonus thingy for registering the software. I really like the classroom-in-a-book books; I've learned a ton of stuff already, just from the illustrator book.

I keep getting distracted from the lessons though, and doing other things with them. I was playing with attempting to do manga/anime drawings last night when I couldn't sleep (decongestants keeping me awake at 5AM), and then I started doing human models with ellipses and putting the rotation points for the shapes in the proper spot and grouping them so you could pose them like those wooden models... I should post those someplace for people to use (or look to see if someone hasn't already done that so I don't have to reinvent the wheel).

The adobe website has some nice user-created brush and symbol libraries, too.
