My brother recently ordered one of those huge LCD-TV`s and also bought a barebone to connect this to his TV. The problem with this barebone is that is had a better CPU and more/better RAM than his current PC, but that it is a GeForce 7050 chipset. His aim is to play some WoW on his TV (so he can sit downstairs with his GF). The 7050 _can_ render the WoW on higher resolutions, but with a seriously low FPS. I`m now looking into buying him (as a gift) a passivly cooled Radeon HD 2600 XT. I found a place where they sell it (more or less) cheap, but i have the following problems: Can anyone acknowledge that this is a single-slot card? Does anyone know the performance of this card when compared with an (old) radeon X800 card? (still AGP)... and the 7050?
