| Debian's reputation as a "roll-your-own" flavor is well-established. It can be set up as manually or with as many "helper" style tools (Yast, YUM, apt-get, rpm, etc. - I'm sure some or all of them are available, and more as well) as I see fit. Yes, there's a certain attraction there.
Fluxbox, eh? I can test that part easily on almost any Linux box - although I sadly suspect that my inability to make Gnome or KDE look the way I'd like is a due to a fundamental lack of artistic vision on my part. Hey, what can I say - I'm a tech-weenie. |
