it might not be secure enough for your personal point of use, but it is fast and works on almost every hardware I came across (recently tried my fathers P3 650MHz 128MB, onBoard Graphics, and surprise: it was FAST! Instant reaction on all applications). 1GB flash drive should be plentiful.
