  Modern radiation therapy technology is amazing. by run.dll 2008-01-15 17:32:50
For the past 3 years I have had 1/2 time leave from academic duties to take advanced courses in radiation physics. It is absolutely amazing how accurately in space they can deliver the dose even to the most irregular geometries. This is a good thing because it means that a lethal dose to the tumour volume can be delivered with minimum dose to surrounding healthy tissue.
