No I think humanity is at the bottom of the food chain and will probably kill itself off eventually. Taking a few thousand species with it in the train wreck. Id like to live to see it. I hope that a few people manage to survive. The useful the enlightened the socially responsible. THEN MAYBE. humanity would have a chance.

Frankly we have let the lazy the decadent and the indolent to survive to long.

Lets take a look at near sightedness. before the invention of glasses and other such aids the nearsighted would be selected against. Either by concious selection OR through accidental death.

Humanity has gotten to the point where the weak are coddled and allowed to thrive on the backs of the group.
