mean. They need that script like they need their blankie. It's a security blanket for them.

I've seen support people get really really confused when you insisted that they THINK for a second and not blindly follow the script.

What is the Dell Service Tag on the unit?

Can you please check for the tag by right-clicking "My Computer" and clicking on "Properties"?
