A SMALL notebook with a reasonable screen resolution. The Asus EEE is a wonderful start, but I need an 8" screen at minimum, with resolution of 1024x768 at least. 1280x1024 would be better. And NO WIDESCREEN!
Widescreen laptops are just silly. No need at all.
I need 6-8 hrs of battery. Wireless a/b/g/n auto-detecting the fastest link. 40-60gb HD, these 120gb and higher models are unrequired for a laptop unless you need it as a desktop replacement. 1gb ram and a basic 3-d Accel video card, with options for high-end video if you want to play games on it.
DVD player, CDRW would be nice. And a FLOPPY. 1.44" FLOPPY. 4 USB 2.0 ports, not all crowded together, please. |
