Why children should be taught basic gun safety by Classic_Jon2008-01-15 08:33:06
Pardon a stupid question from a Norwegian, but by asfrith2008-01-15 09:08:28
Guns are good! People are bad! by Bonzo 2008-01-15 09:34:14
I like my shotgun.. It has gotten me lots of yummy meat!
My father let me use a .22 rifle at the age of ~5, and he was a very active hunter back then.
With the proper upbringing of the kids, guns are not dangerous to keep in the house.
And for the record, the guns are kept in a gun-safe wich I didn't know the key's hidingplace until I was about 17.
(18 is the minimum age for getting a gun/rifle (by your self) in Norway.)

I plan on teaching my future children the same respect for firearms as I had (still have), when I was (still am?) a child.
