No, I'm not talking about snow or ice. I'm talking about slush! I'd prefer to drive on a solid sheet of ice than this stuff.
Ice stays put and can be negotiated.
Snow builds into ridges, but readily moves out of the way when your tires hit it.
But slush, especially when it freezes into position, builds into ridges, but is stiffer than snow, so it pushes your car around. And it's not like rails or solid channels that can guide you like they do a train or trolley. But, rather, they push and throw you in unpredictable ways. Give me snow, give me ice, give me rain, but you can keep the slush. |
