with the advent of the last standing marriage disolving in my immediate family..

money has been tight all around...

for instance this year we got my grandma 2 tires for her car..

she needed them .. but she didn't get as many fun gifts this year for her birthday or xmas ( her bday is real close to xmas)..

my mom got me a goodie bag.. and some pots.. (which I needed)

the only *fun* gift I got this year.. (which is shared with jess) .. was a 13" tv/ dvd player from my ex's folks :) (which again I didn't really "need"; but I didn't have one)

but I am grateful I got *anything*.. It's been a rough year :P
