Don't even give her the option... try "ONLY fly into Dulles" and don't say the name of the other airport, so it won't be in her head. Or book the tickets yourself. Maybe ask her for American Express gift cards for the future... those will work in any book store. Does your family get distracted easily? I'll bet it has to do with the "collective family memory" and because someone purchased that gift card in the past, they think that's the one.
