Now all I need is an eyepatch and a Hook! by Classic_Jon 2007-12-26 08:28:26
So, I went to the GF's parents house for their Christmas and their African Grey Parrot has taken a *big* likeing to me...as in he gets mad if I leave and raises a BIG fuss.

When I leave the house he makes a noise like a Police siren and when I come back towards the front door he He makes a noise like a Smoke detector squeal and dances on his cage. His cage is right next to the front door so as I walk in he tries to reach out as far as he can so he can hop onto me and ride around on my shoulder :) If I don't let him hop on he gets mad and goes into the corner and pouts. lol!!

This is odd in two ways, he was not taken very well, or handled much by his first owner so he is not really a "people" parrot and he relly does not like males....as in he bites them...hard!

They said they have never seen anything like it with him and if they go on a trip or something happens to them, I get Bob, the 4 year old Congo African Grey Parrot :) They are even adding it to their will the next time it is updated :D
