I asked for nothing in particular, this year, but:
My 4yo son gave me a mousing surface that he made himself. A picture he painted himself (of his beloved Bionicle action figures), with a proper plastic surface, and a anti-skid pseudo rubber back side. It's a thing only a parent could love, but it's actually very good, and something I needed, I just didn't know it.
My 6 yo daughter once asked why I got shaver's rash, and figured I might like a proper set of brush and soap. With a stroke of magic, the shaver's rash is gone. Just what I needed, I just didn't know it.
My wife gave me a clothes peg she liked. WTF? |
