While I agree that we have to go green as a planet, the idea that the transition could somehow sink any given country into utter poverty is ludicrous.
But hey, you name an industry that would shut down rather than clean up, and I'll name you an industry that should shut down.
And if you're afraid that the US is going to fall behind China in economic power, hasn't that already happened? If not, they soon will, regardless of environmental regulations. They're building up and we're doing nothing but wasting resources on pointless wars. |
