When I was in college, I took EST (computer hardware/networking). Electronics 101 book side was an old idiot teaching total nonsense. Among other things, he stated that all the substations were just huge banks of capacitors, that the electrical company installs them so they can compensate for inductive customer loads and properly meter their usage...on AC current. Anyone knowing anything at all about electrical theory will tell you that's utter BS and nonsense, and I called him on it to the magistrate.
Never forget that it is *YOU* that is paying *THEM* for an education. *THEY* are working for *YOU*, not the other way around. If it is their incompetence causing you to get a lower grade, it's their problem, and its up to you to make sure they know it. |
