shortly after they moved to Maine. Driving up there, he chanced upon a moose standing in the middle of the road. He stopped, and waited for the moose to move. Then he made his fatal mistake, he got impatient and honked at the moose.

The moose turned, pawed the ground and then charged the front of his truck, smashing in the radiator and stalling the engine in the first charge. It then proceeded to back up and charge repeatedly all the way around the truck, bashing in just about every piece of sheet metal on the outside of the truck and breaking ALL the windows. Then the moose wandered off.

He had a fun time explaining to the trooper who showed up how his car wound up sitting in the middle of the road, smashed to bits, with no skid marks or any other signs of an accident.
