While I am no fan of firefox (I really dont like it) saying it is "probably as vulnerable as IE" is just... well, stupid.

IE7 vulnerabilities
That is just for IE7 and FF2 - no deeper. there are more layers to IE's vulns, not really any more to FF (because of among other things OS integration). Dig a little deeper on your own and you will see that security and popularity are not tieddirectly...and have almost no effect at all beyond a certain level of popularity which firefox has definitely already surpassed.
