Doesn't really make sense, I suppose.
But then again, I DO think global warming is real, and it just as bad as the alarmists say.
Ice melting, etc etc etc ocean rising, extinctions, etc.
But I don't care.
None of it will affect me. Let the ocean rise. As long as it doesn't go above 200 or so feet, I'll be fine.
Extinctions don't bother me - they happened before, they may be happening now. Survival of the fittest means that those that can adapt will survive.
Who really cares if the green-kneed skink goes away? (Fictional critter)
As for those living on islands near sea level - MOVE.
Ditto for those people starving in the middle of a desert.
There was a comedian that put it well, long ago. If you live in the desert, MOVE TO WHERE THE FOOD IS! <Insert long drawn out scream>
