a few years ago, I saw a warning poster to watch out for mooses (meese?). It showed a pick-up truck that had struck a moose at around 40 mph. The moose's legs folded up at the hoodline of the truck, and 1800 pounds of moose slid into the cab of the pick-up, killing both occupants. The moose's rack caught the driver's A-pillar and collapsed the roof even as it broke the moose's neck. Needless to say, a very effective warning poster...
