I consider all bibles to be works of fiction, regardless of whether or not they were originally gospel from a divine being. Humanity has diluted whatever truths were originally in there to the point where all content is suspect. All religions re-write the texts to further their own purposes.

You are asking for sympathy for the death of a young man that, in the view of the majority of the nation, committed suicide by faith in a cult.

I'm sorry, but there it is.

You may believe that your religion is unfairly maligned, but the fact remains that most people believe it to be a cult. A dangerous one at that.

I'll drop it at this point, because I understand that while you are thoroughly convinced you are in the right, so am I, and there will be no resolution to this other than the possibility of an agreement to disagree.

By the way, I'm not restricting my view on this matter to your religion, I am an equal-opportunity religion-disliker. All religions are relics of the <insert Church name> attempting to control the population by manipulation of belief and threats of divine retribution.
