Simplest backup? by Bonzo 2007-11-29 10:37:27
I have:

Two (or more) computers/clients
One storage server

Each client has a "thingy" folder.

Every night, the clients should copy all of the files AND SUBFOLDERS from their "thingy" to "thangs" on the server.

The OS is Windows, and the "thingy" contains mostly family pictures.

What is the easiest (and bandwidth consuming) way?

"copy tingy \\server\thang /y" will work, but that creates heaps of unneccessary bandwidth usage and HDD activity..
