In a few minutes, I'm going to go see if I'm a by ag__wyvern 2007-11-29 09:09:13
mouse-killer.

Mouse poops in the basement (townhouse). Basements a huge mess, but don't know if the mice are ours or the neighbour's. The other building has them -- first time ever, so there seem to be a bunch of them.

I've got the storage unit now, and now I'm going to empty the entire baseement into it and hopefully find out where the buggers are coming in (and do some electrical routing and install central vac at the same time).

Oh yeah, the killer thing. I put out my bucket last night. Cardboard ramp up to the top of the bucket, straight wire from side to side running through a paper towel tube. Peanut butter and oats smeared around the middle of the tube. Mouse goes up ramp, hops onto tube, tube spins, mouse falls, lands in 5" of water in the bucket and takes an H20 nap. (If I have to go for traditional traps when I get the baseement cleared, I will, but would prefer not to. Yes, I get squeamish. Human blood, no that's not a problem, but critters.... ugh :-)
