<skeppy69> i was dissapointed
<skeppy69> i was really hoping it would be something huge
<skeppy69> even promoted its launch on the website
<skeppy69> lets see...
<skeppy69> it's a toy
<skeppy69> it seems their target market is little japanese girls
<Myke> doh.
<skeppy69> the keyboard is cheap, the speakers are BESIDE the 7inch screen and over an inch thick
<Myke> I was thinking of getting one as a backup to my MacBook Pro
<skeppy69> the preloaded OS (that cant really come off) is gauged around a complete novice
<skeppy69> if it had XP it would sell better
<skeppy69> im going to try the next launch with XP
<Myke> the OS is replaceable.
<Myke> it just takes a bit of work.
<skeppy69> or a version of linux with more options!
<skeppy69> ya thats the problem
<skeppy69> so the end user would have to be advanced
<skeppy69> honestly?
<skeppy69> they screwed up with the speakers
<skeppy69> i mean, its a 10 inch laptop
<skeppy69> with a 7 inch screen
<skeppy69> it really killed it for me
<Myke> yeah, I thought it was a 10" screen too
<skeppy69> same
<skeppy69> its 7
<skeppy69> with speakers
<skeppy69> beside the screen
<skeppy69> really big speakers
<skeppy69> that are really quiet
<skeppy69> i was like ^o)
<skeppy69> when using it...
<skeppy69> IF they made the screen 10 inches and made the keyboard bettter quality
<Myke> hrm.
<skeppy69> i would be able to deal with the realitively dissapointing performance
<Myke> so not good as even a backup?
<skeppy69> maybe as a backup, its cool that its so cheap and so small
<skeppy69> its still got that
<skeppy69> but my IBM thinkpad X60 isnt much bigger, and, well, it wouldnt be replacing that any time soon! |
