My PC project - suggestions/criticism wanted by splat_ed 2007-11-29 03:13:14
I've posted a couple of times in the past about this particular project and it's now at the point where I've got all the parts and about to put it together. This means that any design flaws will be fixed in stone (or aluminium in this case)

To try and avoid this, I just want to get feedback from the community.

Aim of the PC/project: Media centre/games machine

The main section I'm wavering on is the inputs: I've got 4 USB ports and I'm looking at sacrificing one to build in 2 Playstation 2 ports (for gamepads/dancepads).
Would you do that or leave it as a USB port and have the adaptor as a seperate cable? I want it to be a nice tidy MAME machine, but given the availability of USB joypads I'm starting to feel that building in the PS2 pad capability might be a waste of time & effort.
