Strange coincidence - watching Battlestar by glitch 2007-11-29 01:31:58
Galactica while chillin at work, watching a bunch of graphs. Been watching them in sequence and an episode started about 10 minutes ago, 'The Woman King', and in the first 10 minutes they're taking about civilians from another ship, but they're sick, but their beliefs won't allow them to accept medical treatment. In a meeting they're talking about how many are going to die and only a very small percentage of them will accept the treatment.

Doctor: "heh, well at least you won't have to worry about having enough medicine for the sagitarans"
Admiral Odama: "yeah, most of them are going to refuse it. people are going to die"
Doctor: "for the last 3000 years medicine has been the great curse"
Kernel Tye: "that's because they're a bunch of stubborn rude sucking jack-a... holding onto tradition that's a thousand years old"

Just odd how I read this threat, then out of pure... fate? this episode comes on. Strange.
