Hip Blop is something akin to the Gargle Blaster I ordered yesterday, a cult drink from a long-running German comic strip called Space Rat... It's much older than UF, I know it from a software magazine from the early nineties. I do wonder, Ziggy, the space rat, he kind of reminds me of someTHING... Especially funny since the Space Rat comics often spoof well-known SF worlds, especially Star Wars, and Lord Crud was also born in a Star Wars spoof...
I'm leaving for Chile tomorrow, to go to La Silla observatory, doing an observation run with a seven-color imager named GROND... Wacky nerdy science stuff!! :D
