The bible is rife with examples of prophets and martyrs who defied G-d. The very first is Noah, followed Abraham and Moses, and it goes on. Abraham was encouraged by G-d to defy the deity. Moses never made it to the Holy Land. Noah was found drunk by his sons because the first thing after the flood he planted a vineyard. Daniel had faith and survived the lions, but that is a rare example. King David was cursed because he betrayed his fellow men, not because he lacked faith. King Solomon was condemned because he comdemned David, not because he had a thousand wives. Why are we talking so much about religion on a computer board?
