But if G-d comes for me I'll be kicking and screaming the whole way. It's what he gave us life for isn't it? The very first commandment in the Bible (after "let there be light" and "let there be life") is "Go forth and multiply." I know that he was your friend, but if he was really following the commandments he would have taken the transfusion (I am making an assumption that's what it was) and lived. The commandment is to not taste blood, you don't taste blood when getting a transfusion. So I am sorry for your loss, but I don't think that this is a case of someone being faithful, I see it as a case of someone being stupid. If someone gives you a chance for life you take it. That is what G-d said. "Let there be life." I'm truly sorry for your loss, but I won't suggest that it was faithfully inspired.
