scars to prove it.
My dad died just over two years ago; car accident. I was in the passenger seat and had the 'distinct privilege' of watching him die in front of my eyes. I'm just glad we had a few minutes to talk as he did. There were 678 at the main funeral a week and a half later in Anacortes, WA, 133 the following week in Guam, and another in Guam with 228. Even the oil refinery he worked in shut down the processing unit he'd been working in so that his fellow team mates could attend and have the day off; at a cost of $1.3 million/hr for the duration of the shift.
You're still crying because it really isn't fair. I believe in the resurrection hope that Jesus yammered on about, and yet, still it hurts; Jesus cried when Lazarus died, even though he knew that he was about to resurrect him.
again, <hugs> |
